Start with a concrete decision

Define what the next delivery should achieve: a backing track for vocals, a finished production or a mix for review. Include the starting bounce and explain what stays.

Make references actionable

Fictional example: “Reference A has the drum space we want; we do not want to copy its melody.” Include the relevant time and the element you mean. The music brief guide explains the fields.

Bring it into the session

Share the brief and materials through session preparation. Choose who coordinates feedback and read how to organize a review round before sending the first mix.
